The Board

The Minister of Health and Child Care Dr Obadiah Moyo has appointed a new NatPharm board chaired by a renowned medical health

practitioner Dr Billy Rigava. The board has the following members:

  • Dr Billy Rigava - Chairperson
  • Advocate Rachel Chibaya - Vice Chairperson
  • Mrs F.N Sifeku - Ex Officio member
  • Dr N.H Chifamba
  • Dr Johnson Shonhe
  • Mr Gerald Gore
  • 3 other members will be appointed in due course

Management

NatPharm Management consists of the following:

  • Managing Director
  • Operations Manager
  • Finance Manager and Company Secretary
  • ICT Manager
  • HR Manager
  • Procurement Manager
  • Internal Audit Manager
  • 6 Branch Managers
  • 2 Stores Pharmacists
  • 1 SBU Manager

The team manages day to day operations of NatPharm. The team makes sure that the required commodities are procured on time and at the right cost and at the right place. Commodities procured must be usable and meet the WHO and MCAZ standards. The commodities must be stored at the right conditions and secured properly. The management employ competent staff to assist in the delivery of commodities and makes sure that the organizations adopts sound systems with relevant technology. Deliveries to the health institutions is done as planned and also under emergencies. Continuous systems improvement and value addition is the order of the day through the internal audit functions. As NatPharm Management, availability of the commodities is what makes them burn the candles all night.
